General Information:

The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach is seeking Part-Time Bartenders to join our team We offer fantastic benefits and rewards, including lunch daily while at work.

General Job Description:

Provide food and beverage services to our private club members and guests.

General Skills and Qualifications Needed Include:

Teamwork and collaboration skills
Customer service skills
Flexible schedule
Organized
Knowledge of food and beverage health and safety standards
Must be 21 years of age or older

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

Performs service with established beverage (and food if applicable) serving standards
Sets up and breads down bar area according to established standards
Ability to understand food and drink menu offerings and promotions
Ensures accuracy of orders and billing
Uses Point of Sale System for order entry
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment and complying with safety rules and regulations
Ensure bar is fully stocked
Capable of loading and unloading heavy items
Flexible schedule
Maintains established standards of beverage service techniques
Establishes and maintains a friendly and positive demeanor while interacting with members, guests and staff

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
